LBL: the Pyraminx layer by layer

The Pyraminx is solved in layers, just like a cube, but with an advantage no cube gives you: five formulas in the whole method, and the longest is eight moves. First the skeleton —the four centres and the four corners— without a single formula; then the bottom crown; and up top only three edges are left. On top of that it uses just three axes (R, L and U): you hold the Pyraminx by the back vertex and never let go for the whole solve.

Press the CYCLE button (the tetrahedron one, next to the Aa letters) and you can swap the side colours around to match your own Pyraminx.
i In the first two phases you'll see pieces in grey: that's on purpose — grey is whatever doesn't matter yet at that point. Drag the Pyraminx with your finger to look at it from anywhere, and press the button in the playback area to see it whole in colour.
